The 70th GA Congress at Thessaloniki was a full success and an unforgettable event. After three years without a f2f meeting it was great to be warmly welcomed by the highly engaged Greek congress team led by Prof. Andreana Assimopoulou at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall with its overwhelming view to the Aegean Sea. More than 500 Delegates from almost 60 countries worldwide, roughly half of them GA-members, half non-members, vividly discussed scientific results in 117 lectures and at 402 posters. On the four exciting conference days old friendships were revitalized and new bonds created among early and experienced scientists, starting at the three pre-symposia and the communicative welcome reception, and with the unforgettable congress dinner at the shores of the Thermaic Gulf as a highlight.
